I remember my flight from Madrid to Cuba took off in the afternoon, during the flight against the direction of the earth rotation, i had the chance to see Havana and the caribbean sea with a long lasting sunset. After being picked up by an Cadillac from 1950´s, we went to this simple Casa Particulares with a small balcony from which you can see Cuban people hung out. You probably recognize the streetscene of Havana easily if you spot an old cadillac in it, but Havana is so much more unique than just the time travel people are advertising with. The streetlife in Cuba is maybe few beats slower than the life in the rest of the world where having a full schedule 48 hours a day is considered as a symbol of success, but i saw more happy faces than i expected. I guess that is Havana tries to tell me: having less is actually having more.
